Mechanically Activated Scavenging System: The Jet Air Filter 3C, is based on a mechanical scavenging system, which is well-reputed for it's excellent dependability and long life. Primary Cleaning Method (Shock-Incidence): By means of the low-pressure scavenging system the 3C filter is capable of handling a large quanity of air while using a relatively short pulse time. A large amount of energy can be transformed to the individual filter bags, creating a uniform shock effect.	Flue gas filtration in connection with a straw-fired boiler plant at Hoeng district heating plant, 6,3 mW.
Secondary Cleaning Method (air-penetration of filter medium): The series 3C filter is especially well suited for products which are only filtered with difficulty, for example non-agglomerating products. Because of the large volume of scavenging air, the filter is capable of washing out fine dust particles deposited deep in the bag felt. Thus, for different kinds of dust, it is possible to size the series 3C filter for heavier loads and lower differential pressures than traditional high-pressure cleaned filters. The well coordinated low pressure scavenging has resulted in far lower emission values compared with a normal compressed-air scavenging.

Positioning and scavenging-air distributor are operated with great accuracy by means of two pneumatic cylinders and an electric motor. A simple and robust construction requiring low maintenance.

Electric Control
The control system is operated completely by solid state outputs, including the connection of the electric motor for distribution of scavenging air. Consequently a high cycle rate will not involve wear on the system. The control system monitors the functions of the filter and will report interruptions, if any.
