EPR Inc. and Simatek A/S Denmark Form Strategic Alliance

West Springfield, Massachusetts-- (November, 1997)- EPR Inc. and Simatek A/S have entered into an agreement giving EPR Inc. the exclusive right to manufacture, market, sell, and distribute Simatek products in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

EPR Inc., founded in 1992 a Delaware corporation based in West Springfield, Massachusetts, is engaged in the manufacture, distribution and sale of its patented particulate collection device, the Aerodynamic Module (ADM). The ADM is a significant advancement in gas cleaning technology that uses aerodynamic engineering to attain high particulate collection. The ADM is characterized by its simple design; no moving parts or filters, compact size, installation flexibility, low energy, maintenance, and operating costs. The ADM, already in commercial use has applications in the cereal, cement, paper, chemical, mineral and other industries.

Simatek, founded in 1981, a Danish corporation, that takes a special interest in environmental issues, mainly industrial air filtration. Simatek's efforts to protect the environment, indoors as well as outdoors, have brought about a series of efficient high quality filter systems for the filtration of dust from air and flue gases.

Simatek's products include Jet Pulse Air Filters Series 3C and 4T, Spot Filters for conveyors, Pit Aspiration Filters, Rotary Airlocks, and Bucket Elevators. Simatek's product line encom- passes the latest technology, its 3C Jet Pulse filter is a low pressure/high volume individual bag-cleaning filter of an explosion-proof design capable of cleaning 10-meter long bags. Simatek products broaden EPR Inc.'s ability to introduce the integrated Aerodynamic Module (ADM)/Fabric Filter Systems into the market place.

EPR Inc. is lead by Louis A. Luedtke, President, who joined the organization in August from his position as President of Tuchenhagan North America, a GEA Company. Luedtke has 24 years experience in process, powder handling and air pollution control industries having held senior positions at Hosokawe Mikropul and Air & Water Technologies (Research Cotrell).

At the signing of the agreement between EPR Inc. and Simatek, Luedtke said, "The addition of Simatek's products to EPR Inc.'s portfolio will enable us to offer greater system responsibility to our already growing customer base."
